Wrestlemania pics

Last week, I got to hang out in the green room at the Rosemont Allstate Arena for Wrestlemania 22. Sean Morley (aka Val Venis) is a listener to the radio show and he invited the FTL crew to come up to Chicago. Since I'm the resident wrestling fan, I took him up on the offer and had a great time. Sean's awesome, I got to meet all kinds of cool people and I found out that there are a few admitted Libertarians (Sean and Kane) working for the WWE. The best part is that I could also tell that there were several people who could very easily make the switch without much provocation (Stevie Richards claims to be a centerist...but he's just afraid to call himself Libertarian...heh).

Anyhow...Sean was nice enough to take some pics while I was there. I didn't get a chance to actually have a pic taken with Sean, but hopefully that'll change in the near future.

That is all...
I never thought I'd be obsessing over a piece of furniture, but I've found the greatest chair ever to exist: The Hans Wegner "Teddy Bear" chair, manufactured by PP Mobler.

The sad thing is, even with my employee discount it still costs about $7,000. Ah well, at least I can still enjoy it as long as we keep one in the showroom. :-P

RandomPost Update

RandomPost no longer ignores the lj-cut tag. If you have randompost on your friends list, you no longer have to worry about giant New Year's Eve parties killing your bandwidth. :-P

Unfortunately, there's no way for me to preserve the original text of the cut as LJ doesn't put that in their RSS feed. Because of this, all entries with cuts will say "This entry contains a cut. Click here for full post."

This change is not retroactive, it will only apply to new friends list entries. Again, because of how LJ works, there's not a whole lot I can do about that one.

Randompost bugfix

Randompost's RSS feed (http://randompost.nanowerx.com/rss.cfm) was randomly selecting a user, but instead of displaying a random post for that user's LJ, it was just displaying that person's most recent entry. This has been fixed, so people who have the feed on their LJ friends lists should now start seeing a wider range of entries.

I think I'm going to follow the example set by tocard and post a wishlist for my birthday that is coming up on September 9th. There aren't many things on here right now, but I'll be adding more to it as the day goes on. I'm trying to be easier to shop for...and I've also put several items on the list just so that I have them collected somewhere for the future...so don't freak out about the items that cost several hundred dollars. :-P

I'm trying to get a bunch of people together on the 9th to go see Kevin Pollak at the Tampa Improv...if you're my friend and you want to go, let me know...more people = more fun.
